to find the woman within the mother<\/em><\/p>

I am Andrea Vindt, a mother of two, and Maison Vindt was born from something I lived myself.<\/p>

When I was breastfeeding my daughter Jasmine, I quickly realised how little of what was available felt like me. Most nursing clothes were practical first and fashion second.<\/p>

But I wasn\u2019t looking for a new \u201cmother wardrobe\u201d.<\/p>

I wanted to wear clothes I truly loved \u2014 pieces in which I still recognised myself \u2014 and simply have the freedom to breastfeed when I needed to.<\/p>

I couldn\u2019t find that, so I began creating it.<\/p>

In 2021, Maison Vindt was born. I started designing pieces where function could quietly disappear into the garment: concealed zips integrated into selected styles, thoughtful cuts, pockets and shapes that give the body space. The function is there when a woman needs it, but it does not define the piece.<\/p>

Motherhood changes so much. I know that deeply. But I never believed it should come with a uniform.<\/p>

A woman can care for others and still remain herself. She can want comfort and beauty, function and femininity. She can become a mother without giving up the way she wants to feel in her clothes.<\/p>

That is still at the heart of Maison Vindt.<\/p>

I want to create pieces that live with a woman through changing chapters \u2014 during pregnancy and breastfeeding, on ordinary mornings, at work, over dinner, while travelling, and long after those first years have passed.<\/p>

If a Maison Vindt piece can be with a woman while she holds her newborn close, and years later still be something she reaches for simply because she loves wearing it, then it has become exactly what I wanted it to be.<\/p>

I believe clothes should adapt to a woman\u2019s life.
